Susan Purvis has been a Grand Valley resident since 1984 and a Realtor since 2005. In 2008, Susan earned her Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI) designation from the National Association of Realtors. The designation is awarded after a Realtor receives training in topics ranging from marketing to servicing listings to real estate law. A native of Italy (her father was stationed there in the Air Force), Susan has been self-employed most of her working life. She trained to be a tailor in Louisiana and has sewed all her life. She owns and operates her own postcard company, Colorado Edge, in which she photographs, designs, and markets her own work for western Colorado. She services areas that include Aspen, Montrose, and Crested Butte.
Susan and her husband, Terry, moved to Grand Junction for a job promotion in the midst of the local oil shale bust, when Terry became Funeral Director at Martin Mortuary. Terry is currently a warehouse manager for Grand Valley Foods. Susan and Terry have 3 adult children and 2 grandchildren. |
